Here are the general steps to send money with Wise:
- Login to Your Wise Account:
Log in to your Wise account on their website www.wise.com or through their mobile app.
- Initiate a Transfer:
Start a new transfer by entering the amount you want to send and selecting the currencies involved.
Sender: choose your local currency
Recipient: choose Indonesian Rupiah IDR
And
double-check the sender amount and how much the recipient will receive in IDR
- Enter Recipient Details:
Enter the recipient's details, including their full name, email address, and bank details.
View Bali Paradise Estate's bank details in the villa booking request email.
- Verify Recipient Information:
Wise will ask you to confirm the details provided. Make sure all the information is accurate before
proceeding.
- Select Payment Method:
Choose the payment method for your transfer (bank transfer, debit/credit card, etc.).
WISE Bank Transfer Option: The genius of Wise Bank Transfer is that you
only
pay
local bank transfer fees.
For example, if you reside in Australia, you make as usual a local bank transfer in AUD to the
WISE
AUSTRALIA bank account (Remember to add your WISE reference code in the
reference/description of your transaction)
Once WISE AUSTRALIA receives the funds, WISE INDONESIA will make a local bank transfer in IDR to
the
recipient's bank account in Indonesia. It's incredibly simple, quick, and cheap.
- Review and Confirm:
Review the details of your transfer, including the exchange rate and fees. Confirm the transfer if
everything is correct.
- Make Payment:
If you haven't already, make the payment for your transfer using the selected payment method.
- Track Your Transfer:
After making the payment, you can track the status of your transfer through your Wise account.
Please note that Wise uses the recipient's bank details directly for the transfer. If you are making
a
transfer to someone you've sent money to before, Wise may save those details to make future
transfers
easier. However, this is not the same as creating a recipient profile in the traditional sense.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend checking the latest guidance on the
Wise
website or contacting their customer support. The steps may have changed, or new features may have
been
introduced since.
